Imagine standing on the opposite side of a cliff looking at a building. From where you are, the building might look small to you — there's nothing nearby to give a sense of scale. From another person's perspective, that same building could appear massive when seen alongside a wide road. The truth becomes clearer when we walk closer, changing our viewpoint.
In life, problems are much the same. A challenge that seems overwhelming from one perspective might look manageable from another. It is important to take a step back, shift our position, and look at things from different perspectives. Don't let yourself be blinded by just one point of view. Perspective can change everything.
My Journey:
I have went through life complaining about colleagues, bosses and friends. Am I better person than them? No, I am not. I was always looking at it from my perspective as a victim. At the moment, my thought was why it always must be me. After years of going to and forth on this, I realised that it was just me. My perspective was only one sided because I have never put myself in their perspective.
Today, I learnt to look at things from different perspective before jumping into conclusion.
